Stackwell: Stacker Stories for Black History Month
Stackwell needed long-form content for a Black History Month campaign about generational wealth and legacy. From that challenge, I developed a BHM series of Stacker Stories, our editorial series designed to ground our product in the lived experiences of real people. Working alongside our Director of Strategy, I interviewed three individuals at very different stages of their wealth-building journeys.
Malik, a Morehouse student investing early in his future
Leslie, a small business owner charting a path toward financial stability and growth
Trevor, Stackwell’s CEO, reflecting on leadership, legacy, and the responsibility of building tools that close the racial wealth gap.
I crafted each feature from these conversations, weaving together personal narrative, financial insight, and the role Stackwell plays in helping people create lasting change for themselves and their families. The result: a trio of stories that honors Black History Month by highlighting the power, intention, and resilience behind generational wealth building.
